I enjoy Jessica Andersen’s books because even though it is set in andersfn world, she still make it her own and you can actually picture the way her characters and dimensions look by the way she describes them.
His priority is to keep the boys safe, and not to make Patience happy. Lucius, who in the first book was a geek, who anderesn for Anna at the University, but after having been possessed by a makol demon, he has totally changed physically and mentally in this book, very much like all the other Nightkeeper warriors.

Another really good Nightkeeper story by JA. Patience and Brandt’s book is next. Together they find themselves in some pretty tricky situations and only together can they even begin to find the a “Magic isn’t the answer.

As a romance I found Demonkeeprs exceptionl; it was on point with both Jade and Lucius finding their way to each other as well as finding their place in the ‘final prophecy’. The Banol Kax are set to up rise and bring an apocalypse. Or hopefully it is? Though it’s part of a series, you, the fledgling Nightkeeper lover, will not be left wanting.
It’s about functioning through the fear. She has feelings for Lucius, and this increases over time, as well as Lucius coming to the understanding that Jade loved him as a Geek or a Warrior.
Only he seems to have second thoughts now, having been rebuffed by her all those months ago. And I still like all demonkeepegs the Mayan mythology that flavor this series and I liked the background story to save ‘the sun’, even though with all the build-up of the fate-of-the-world-hanging-in-the-balance the actual resolution to this was awfully quick and easy.
The world building based on the countdown to the Mayan Apocalypse is one of the most compelling aspects of this series.

I really enjoy the originality of this series but sometimes the mythology and the complexity of the plot requires close reading to keep the storyline straight in a reader’s head.
Lucius in Demonkeepers andersenn undergone a metamorphosis, no longer is he the gangly intellectual, Lucius’ time with the demon has triggered a change in his body he’s now totally hunk worthy and brought a dangerous edge to his attitude.
